Studio Haydee Garcia, one of Manila’s most romantic and whimsical bridal fashion ateliers, has officially stepped into the world of luxury ready-to-wear. The brand debuted its highly anticipated Ready-to-Wear Spring 2026 collection, dubbed “Petals & Poetry,” during a breathtaking runway show at The Blue Leaf Events Pavilion in McKinley Hill Village, Fort Bonifacio.
Orange Magazine PH was there last night to witness the beautiful runway collection firsthand, joining an intimate crowd of selected guests from the fashion, media, and creative industries for a refined and immersive fashion experience. The exclusive launch was hosted by Janeena Chan. She brought her signature energy, elegance, and effortless poise to the stage, keeping the entire evening flowing beautifully. From engaging the crowd to perfectly setting the tone for a high-fashion affair like Studio Haydee Garcia’s debut, she proved once again why she is one of the absolute best in the business.
A New Chapter of Quiet Elegance
After nearly a decade of creating bespoke bridal gowns and couture formalwear, the studio’s new collection serves as a celebration of quiet elegance—a new chapter where femininity, craftsmanship, and intention seamlessly come together.
The star-studded event featured Manila’s favorite socialite, Small Laude, in the front row, who shared her awe over the atelier’s runway vision and design aesthetics. Capping off the parade of beauty, style, and grace was Miss Universe 2018 and artist Catriona Gray, who delivered a spectacular showcase on the catwalk.
This milestone also sets the stage for the brand’s next big move: opening its new home at the North Garden Villa, Proscenium at Rockwell in Makati City. Set to open this May 2026, the boutique will offer an elevated and accessible expression of its bespoke heritage.
Vision in Style
Founders Haydee Garcia and Mary Grace Chu shared their inspiration behind the brand’s evolution:
“The vision behind Haydee Garcia Atelier has always been simple — I wanted to create a space where women can feel beautiful, confident, and celebrated through fashion. For me, it’s never just about making gowns. It’s really about creating pieces that hold memories and emotions. I want every client to feel special the moment they wear a Haydee Garcia piece.”

Reflecting on more than a decade in the industry, Haydee Garcia opened up about her deeply personal relationship with fashion and what finally prompted her to take this creative leap:
“I’ve been doing this for more than 10 years now, and honestly, fashion has always been something very personal to me. As a designer and fashion architect, I love combining structure, detail, and femininity into every piece we create. Over the years, I’ve learned that every gown tells a different story, and that’s what keeps me passionate about what I do.“
“I think it came from a point where I finally felt ready to fully embrace the vision I had for the brand. Opening a stand-alone studio was a huge step for me creatively and personally. I wanted clients to experience the brand in a more intimate and elevated way — from the atmosphere of the studio to the entire design journey. It was definitely scary at first, but also very fulfilling.”
The “Petals & Poetry” Collection
The new segment introduces 28 statement pieces designed to feel dreamy yet empowering, balancing wearable modern silhouettes with luxurious textures.
“This collection is very feminine, romantic, and modern. You’ll see soft color palettes mixed with rich textures and intricate details. We used luxurious materials like duchess silk, gazar, Jacquard, Brocade, crystals and gold plated gems. The collection features 28 statement pieces that are elegant but still wearable and modern at the same time. Every look was designed to feel dreamy yet empowering.”
The Haydee Garcia Woman
When asked about the muse behind the designs, Haydee described a definitive, confident persona:
“I think the woman who resonates with our brand is someone who’s confident in her femininity. She loves elegance and craftsmanship, but she also isn’t afraid to stand out. She appreciates details, timelessness, and pieces that make her feel empowered and beautiful. She’s romantic, modern, and expressive in her own way.”
Fashion for the Stars
The designer also revealed the deliberate choices behind the evening’s high-profile muses, explaining how both Catriona Gray and Small Laude perfectly encapsulate the spirit of the collection.
“We chose Catriona Gray because she truly embodies the elegance, confidence, and grace that our brand represents. We wanted our finale to feel powerful yet timeless, and Catriona naturally brings that kind of presence on the runway,” she said.
“We chose Small Laude because she brings warmth, personality, and effortless luxury all at the same time. We wanted the finale to feel celebratory and relatable, and Small has this natural charm that connects so well with people,” she added.
The Universe approved

When asked about how she feels being chosen as one of the muse, and her thoughts on the collection, Catriona Gray said:
“What an honor it is to walk as a part of this beautiful collection by Haydee Garcia. My first meeting her, I really want to know her design story, and I think we can all see that this collection is made by a talented woman, to really make women feel beautiful and feminine. And that’s what I love about this collection. You can see a lot of different silhouettes. I myself is not a size zero, but I feel so beautiful in what I’m wearing tonight. And I think that’s the messaging of this collection, that you can be romantic and feminine and powerful and bold whatever that design speaks to you. And that’s what Haydee Garcia has encapsulated in this collection tonight. So I’m really happy to be part of it.”
Looking Ahead
As Studio Haydee Garcia enters this vibrant new era, the future looks incredibly bright for the fashion house.
“There’s definitely a lot to look forward to from the brand. We’re excited to explore more collections, expand further into luxury ready-to-wear, and create even more fashion experiences for our clients. I also want to continue evolving creatively while staying true to the heart of the brand, which is craftsmanship, femininity, and storytelling through fashion.”
