Theater Group Asia and Ayala Land have been honored with the Red Award for Image Making at the Good Design Award Philippines 2026 for Request sa Radyo, an immersive theatrical production created in collaboration with Tony Award-winning Filipino-American designer Clint Ramos and staged at Circuit Makati, Ayala Land’s premier arts and culture district.
The Red Award, the highest distinction in the Good Design Award Philippines program, recognizes exceptional design that demonstrates innovation, cultural relevance, and meaningful impact on Filipino audiences.
Request sa Radyo redefined theater-making in the Philippines by proving that a set can do more than frame a story—it can tell one. Designed by Clint Ramos and starring Filipino global superstars Lea Salonga and Dolly de Leon, the immersive production transformed a familiar Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) apartment into a powerful exploration of isolation, migration, and resilience.
Through innovative spatial design and visual symbolism, the set became a catalyst for conversations on mental health and the lived experiences of OFWs—demonstrating how theater can foster empathy, understanding, and social impact.

The collaboration marks a milestone for Philippine theater, bringing together Ramos’s internationally acclaimed design vision, the creative ambition of Theater Group Asia, and the cultural infrastructure of Circuit Makati.
