Heading the local rollout is MacGyver “Mac” Yu, the BleeqUp Philippine Representative and CEO of BleeqUp Philippines. Investigating the Needs of 1,000 Cyclists
Providing a deep dive into the R&D behind the four-year journey of developing the Ranger was Jiachao Lee, BleeqUp’s Global Sales & Marketing Head, who flew into Manila straight from Los Angeles for the launch.
“During the last four years, we only built one product: the BleeqUp Ranger. Why did this product need four years to be built? Because we investigated more than 1,000 cyclists all over the world,” Lee explained. “We have a lot of cutting-edge technology in augmented reality and virtual reality, but we didn’t want to just bring technology directly to end-users and say ‘you must need this function.’ We found the real problems. When people are riding, the problem isn’t just whether the image is 4K—the problem is battery life, capturing sudden critical moments, and wind noise during communication.”
Lee also highlighted the unique software capability of the glasses, which allows users to take a pre-ride selfie and automatically stitch together third-person, drone-like visual angles of themselves using AI.

Rocco Nacino Steps Up as Brand Ambassador
The media launch reached a high point with the official introduction of accomplished actor, dedicated athlete, and avid cyclist Rocco Nacino as the newest Brand Ambassador for BleeqUp Philippines. Nacino expressed his immediate alignment with the brand, citing how much easier it makes documentation for multi-sport athletes.
