Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation’s (RCBC) credit card arm has rolled out several cashback promos to help its clients cushion the impact of increasing prices as inflation hits its highest level in more than three years.
RCBC Credit Cards President Arniel Vincent B. Ong stated that the company is offering cardholders a practical way to extend their budgets. Through several ongoing cashback promotions, cardholders can earn up to P32,000 on everyday spending.
“With high inflation, every peso counts for Filipino families. Our cashback promotions are designed to provide meaningful relief, in addition to non-expiring rewards points and air miles. This is actual cash that goes back to them as they spend on their essential needs,” he added.
The promotions span a wide range of spending categories, giving cardholders multiple ways to earn back money on purchases they are already making.
For daily expenses, the “Spend Anywhere” promo allows cardholders to earn up to P5,000 cashback on local straight purchases made with any RCBC Credit Card. This is one of the most versatile offers in the lineup, covering categories such as groceries, fuel, and back-to-school expenses.
For those planning a local staycation or vacation, the “Your Local Travel Rebate” promo offers up to a P5,000 cash rebate on hotel, resort, and accommodation bookings within the Philippines until June 30, 2026. Cardholders who book directly and spend a minimum of P10,000 per transaction qualify, with rebates scaling up to P5,000 for an accumulated spend of P100,000 or more. This is particularly timely as Filipinos seek budget-conscious travel options closer to home.
Shoppers can also benefit from two dedicated retail cashback promos. The “SM Retail Cashback” promo, valid until June 30, 2026, allows RCBC Visa Credit Cardholders to earn up to P5,000 cashback at participating stores like UNIQLO, Crocs, Sports Central, Fitflop, Surplus, ECCO, and Levi’s, applicable to both straight and zero-percent installment transactions.
Cardholders purchasing abroad, whether in-person or online, can also receive up to a P12,000 rebate by registering and using their RCBC Credit Card.
Combined, these promotions offer RCBC Credit Cardholders the opportunity to earn up to P32,000 in cashback across various categories—from travel and dining to retail—providing a significant offset against the rising cost of living.
For RCBC Credit Cards, this cashback initiative is part of a broader commitment to supporting customers during challenging economic times. It complements the bank’s other financial tools, such as UnliPay and Unli Installment, which help cardholders manage large expenses through flexible and affordable payment options.
