The Philippines wrapped up its participation at the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 2026, held on April 10-12, 2026 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, with PHP 146.6 million in sales leads and PHP 5.48 million in actual bookings. The country, led by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, was also recognized as the Global Dive Destination of the Year at the ADEX Big Blue Legacy Awards, an affirmation of its world-class dive offerings.

These results reflect sustained global interest in the country’s dive offerings amid evolving travel conditions.

The Philippine delegation featured 24 exhibitors composed of dive resorts, dive tour operators, and an airline partner that showcased the country’s wide range of dive products in Cebu, Bohol, Dauin, Puerto Galera, Anilao, and Palawan. The contingent included Casalay Boutique Villas & Dive Resort, Porto Novo Anilao Dive and Leisure Resort, Atlantis Dive Resorts & Liveaboards, Fun & Sun Dive & Travel, La Laguna Beach Club & Dive Center, Solitude Acacia Resort, Slam’s Garden Dive Resort, Aldive Corporation, Buceo Anilao Beach & Dive Resort, Garden of Eden Dive Resort, Atmosphere Resorts & Spa, Scandi Divers, Philippine Airlines, Sierra Madre Divers Dive Center, El Galleon Dive Resort / Asia Divers, Lalaguna Villas Luxury Dive Resort & Spa, Seau Diving Shop, Sunshine Anilao Dive and Beach Resort, M/Y Resolute (Liveaboards), Sea Explorers Philippines, Aiyanar Beach and Dive Resort, Umali Dive Center Corporation, Bohol Beach Club, and Logon Fish Buddies Dive Center.

“The interest we’ve seen in the Philippines as a dive destination reflects the strength of our marine experiences and the continued work of our industry partners,” said TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles. “Our focus remains on bolstering these connections and ensuring that engagement in platforms like ADEX translates into opportunities for our local dive resorts, operators, and coastal communities, while continuing to support responsible and sustainable tourism.”

Throughout the three-day expo, the Philippines booth drew strong foot traffic from dive professionals, travel trade representatives, and consumer visitors, resulting in active partnership building and onsite bookings.A highlight of the Philippines’ participation was a session by Filipino underwater photographer and scuba instructor Ram Yoro, who delivered a presentation titled “Discover the Best of Philippine Diving,” offering insights into the country’s underwater ecosystems, dive experiences, and conservation efforts.

Recognized as Asia’s largest and longest-running dive expo, ADEX continues to serve as a key platform for industry engagement, bringing together international dive operators, travel agencies, equipment brands, and enthusiasts. Organized by Underwater360, the expo has expanded across Singapore, China, and Japan, promoting dive tourism and advancing marine conservation awareness since its inception in 1994.The Philippines’ participation underscored the country’s continued efforts to strengthen its presence in the global dive tourism market. As interest in dive tourism and marine travel continues to grow, TPB remains committed to demonstrate the Philippines’ growing influence in the global diving landscape through its diverse dive portfolio and robust industry partnerships.

What a strong recognition for the Philippines being named Global Dive Destination of the Year really shows how rich and diverse its marine life is. Events like ADEX also seem to be driving real tourism impact and partnerships.
