Malayan Insurance Company, Inc. has partnered with Filipino illustrator and visual artist Patricia Py to create a collection of giftable insurance cards that combine meaningful artwork with meaningful protection.

The collaboration brings together Patricia Py’s signature illustration style and Malayan’s Insurance For You (I4U) cards, transforming the traditional greeting card into something more lasting: a gift that carries both a personal message and a year of personal accident insurance coverage.

Known for her whimsical and heartfelt illustrations that celebrate everyday moments and human connections, Patricia Py designed a series of exclusive card artworks for the i4U collection. The cards are intended for life’s most meaningful occasions—from birthdays and holidays to expressions of gratitude and appreciation—while providing recipients with practical protection they can use long after the occasion has passed.

Each i4U Card comes with a one-year Personal Accident Insurance policy that provides coverage against accidental death, total permanent disability, and accidental disablement or dismemberment. Recipients can activate their coverage through a simple online or SMS registration process, with coverage taking effect within 24 hours.

The I4U Prepaid Personal Accident Gift Card is affordably priced at Php85 and provides accidental death, total permanent disability, and disablement or dismemberment coverage of up to Php 50,000 for each benefit category. Designed as an accessible protection solution, the card offers financial support in the event of covered accidents.

The partnership reflects a shared belief that meaningful gifts should create lasting impact. By combining art and protection in a single product, the cards offer a fresh take on gift-giving—one that goes beyond material presents and focuses on caring for the people who matter most.

“Gift-giving has always been about showing someone you care,” said Natasha Chan, Head of Brand Marketing and Communications. “Through our collaboration with Patricia Py, we’re able to make that gesture even more meaningful by pairing beautiful artwork with something that provides real-world value and peace of mind.”

The Patricia Py x i4U collection is available in a variety of occasion-based designs and can also be customized for corporate giveaways, employee appreciation programs, local government initiatives, and community campaigns.

As one of the Philippines’ leading non-life insurance providers, Malayan Insurance continues to explore innovative ways to make protection more accessible, relevant, and seamlessly integrated into everyday life.
