The global Magento community lands in the Philippines for the first time with the official launch of Meet Magento Philippines 2025 organized by Dev Team in partnership with the Magento Association, a landmark event uniting developers, merchants, agencies, and tech partners in a shared vision of open collaboration and innovation in e-commerce.

Set to take place on November 19, 2025, at The Blue Leaf Events Pavilion, McKinley, Taguig, this milestone event aims to connect the fragmented Magento ecosystem in the country and celebrate the world-class Filipino talent that is quietly powering global e-commerce. Whether you’re using Magento or just new to the platform, this event promises to bring together those shaping the future of e-commerce. This event is designed for everyone, from seasoned Magento users to those new to the platform, and aims to connect individuals who are influencing and shaping the future of e-commerce.

“Meet Magento Philippines showcases the incredible talent of our local developers — talent that empowers merchants and businesses to adopt future-ready strategies. It opens the door to learn from what other countries are doing in digital commerce, giving us insights we can adapt and apply to strengthen the Philippine eCommerce industry,” says Chris Islan, the co-founder of Dev Team.

“The Philippine eCommerce community of developers and practitioners is truly world-class. Bringing the series to the Philippines is an exciting milestone, and I believe this will be one of the stand-out events of the global series. With a fantastic lineup of speakers, it promises to be a unique opportunity for learning, innovation, and meaningful networking across the ecosystem,” says Ollie Hunt, the co-founder of Dev Team and Board Director of the Magento Association.

At its core, the event will spotlight the local e-commerce community, featuring a tech and business-heavy agenda including free training, certifications, technical and business talks, and deep dives into real-world use cases. It’s a celebration of how Filipino talent is driving innovation on the Magento platform, often behind-the-scenes for some of the world’s largest e-commerce businesses.

In addition to recognizing local excellence, Meet Magento PH positions the country as a premier offshore development hub for international brands looking to scale. With Magento’s open-source flexibility, Filipino teams are uniquely equipped to build complex, customized solutions for global and local markets alike.

“The Philippines offers exciting opportunities for open-source e-commerce. Magento’s flexibility allows developers to create tailored solutions for local needs, from payments to customer experiences. Meet Magento Philippines will empower Filipino talent to build market-ready solutions for the world,” says Mathias Schreiber, the Executive Director of the Magento Association.

Meet Magento PH also aims to educate and inspire Philippine businesses and entrepreneurs to leverage Magento as a future-ready platform tailored to local needs, from multi-layered logistics and localized payments to full-stack storefront customization.

Meet Magento Philippines is more than just a conference; it’s the launchpad of a thriving, connected ecosystem for Magento professionals and businesses in Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing digital economy.
