Ready your costumes and prepare your cameras as Ayala Malls Circuit Makati and Cadre 28 bring you a unique cosplay convention experience – Geek+Pop Cosplay Photo Battle Arena! And it’s happening on April 1 and 2, 2023.
Cosplay and Photography go together perfectly like bread and butter. On one hand, you’ve got a whole community of creative, young people who spend days preparing their costumes and getting into character, then hoping to get their photos taken. On the other hand, we’ve got the photography community just itching to find the next subjects for their photoshoots.
Well, we finally have an event that blends these two together, and it’s awesome! Imagine a cosplay and photo contest happening in the whole mall! That’s right, the whole Ayala Malls Circuit Makati is a photoshoot location. All attendees are automatically part of the photo contest whether as a photographer or cosplayers or even both.
If you just want to hang out with your cos-friends, that’s fine too. Support the merchant tables as they sell their amazing wares, add to your moots, and just enjoy the convention. There’s also a talent contest and runway contest available to a limited number of participants.
