However, the group stated that with this new song release, they are bound to show another side of 1st.One.
The group is stepping out of the box from their usual outputs since people are used to 1st.One singing ballads with rap segments or singing – dance songs with either charisma or a strong appeal.
“We wanted to show that 1st.One as a group has grown, and desires to show a side that people would not expect… That’s why this song is a full-on ballad song, where even the group rappers sing and the style of the song is basically no gimmick, just pure emotions, and soul.” – as stated by their Leader Ace. 1st.One aims for people to not only know their group as a singing-dancing-rapping boy group but to also show that 1st.One is a group full of dedicated and fully-fledged artists.
This song is about time, and how we sometimes let it slip out of our hands. That we may be losing time for all the wrong reasons and not for reasons that we intend for it to be. But this song also gives us a glimpse of hope, as a reminder to “Cherish time. Make the most out of it, so at the end when you look back… you will not regret a single thing.” This is said as a reminder from 1st.One to the listeners.
