Danish design brand BoConcept – known for its contemporary collection of furniture, accessories, and lighting is back in Shangri-La Plaza. Reopening its doors – with a bigger, and even more iconic store, it has moved to a new and better location at Mid-Level 2/3 East Wing just in time for its 20th year in Shang.

Founded in 1952 in Denmark, BoConcept is also marking seven decades of bringing award-winning designs to homes all over the world with the new Kollektion, featuring the best of Danish style with its timeless shapes, neutral tones, and a focus on multifunctional pieces.

Kollektion includes brand new designs and new versions of beloved existing pieces, created to meet new consumer needs and habits, such as working from home and redefining multifunctional spaces at home. The pieces all reflect BoConcept’s values and heritage: expert craftsmanship, quality without compromise, and unique Danish design. They have been developed by Danish designers Henrik Pedersen and Morten Georgsen, two long-term collaborators behind BoConcept’s most iconic designs.

One of the pieces from the collection includes Pedersen’s minimalist and softly rounded Berne chair and sofa that offers great support with a higher, more upright back, bigger seat depth, and firmer cushions—making living spaces more welcoming. Another Pedersen design is the Hauge dining table and chair that stand out with their sleek and sturdy designs and wooden details that underline Scandinavian design heritage and craftsmanship.

Kollektion also features Georgen’s Nordic-inspired Kingston desk that makes for a great home office solution as it has a subtle integrated drawer for storing everyday office essentials. He also designed the Lund cabinet that serves as a modern interpretation of the classic cabinet with an elegant slim frame and glass panelling perfect for showcasing personal collections.

BoConcept’s popular Adelaide and Vienna chairs are also now available as office chairs, combining functionality and superior comfort for utmost productivity. They have a five-spoke castor base, with height-adjustable function.

Find Kollektion pieces, create extraordinary spaces, and experience Danish design at its finest only at BoConcept. Visit its biggest store in the Philippines at Mid-Level 2/3 East Wing in Shangri-La Plaza.
