AirAsia Philippines, together with McDonald’s Philippines, partners with 137-year-old orphanage Asilo de San Vicente de Paul for its Christmas Corporate Social Responsibility campaign, “alwaysREDy: Magbigay Saya Ngayong Pasko.”

The Christmas CSR initiative augments the recreational program of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vicente de Paul for the orphaned children, marginalized youth, and disenfranchised individuals under their care. The alwaysREDy: Magbigay Saya Ngayong Pasko brought happiness to the 120-strong community of Asilo de San Vicente de Paul on December 12.

This year’s event featured song and dance performances from the AirAsia cabin crew, parlor games, and McDonald’s happy meals. The day’s highlight is the gift-giving activity of the toys and school supplies generated by the donation drive initiated by Filipino Allstars from November 18 to December 11.

AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla shares: “Asilo de San Vicente de Paul is valuable to AirAsia Philippines. Christmas is all about the spirit of giving, and our commitment is to continue to share our company’s wins with partners like Asilo de San Vicente de Paul every year. We thank the Daughters of Charity for letting us host a Christmas event in their home. It was a privilege to engage with the entire Asilo community.”

Daughters of Charity Sister Davidica Gunao shares: “We thank AirAsia Philippines, and McDonald’s Philippines for always bringing happiness to the children of Asilo de San Vicente de Paul every Christmas. alwasyREDy:magbigay saya ngayon Pasko is one of the most awaited Christmas events of the children of Asilo. Christmas is truly in the air at Asilo de San Vicente de Paul.”

Christmas is the most beloved season in the Philippines, especially among children. Unfortunately, not all kids have the chance to receive Christmas gifts or celebrate this holiday season. Any gift this Christmas will bring so much joy and even hope to the children of Asilo de San Vicente de Paul. For donations, interested individuals may contact 0931 836 2062 through Melca Luzon or email [email protected].
