Last April, the Taiwan Travel Fair showcased authentic Taiwan small town decorated stalls and games at the activity center of Glorietta. Guests had the chance to win prizes from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau.

(L-R) Mr. Jerry Chuang, Director of Press Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines, Mr. Jacky Chen, General Manager of China Airlines, Philippine Branch, Mr. Michael Hsu, Representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines, Mr. Ritchie Tuano, President of Philippine Travel Agencies Association and Mr. Shih-pi Chou

Through this kind of travel fair, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau hopes to attract Filipinos to include Taiwan in their travel list.

The all-day program at the main stage gave the public the opportunity to participate in the Q&A portion and other fun games. Guests were also able to sample Taiwan’s delicious local specialties.

During the event, a good number of curious guests came to inquire about flight and tour packages to Taiwan which made this event a huge success in terms of promoting Taiwan as Filipino’s next destination.

Those who were able to present a roundtrip ticket with a copy of a 2-night accommodation, was able to redeem exclusive freebies. Guests who weren’t able to redeem it during the fair can just mail the required documents together with a self-addressed and stamped envelope, including sufficient amount of postage to receive their freebie.

The Taiwan Tourism Information Center Manila office is located at Tower 1, 8th Floor, Highstreet South Corporate Plaza, 9th Avenue corner 26th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Philippines with office hours from 9:30am to 6:00pm daily.
