On June 14, the “2019 Formosa Summer Festival” will be launched to attract international tourists from near and far to enjoy an impressive summer tour in Taiwan that combines sports, cuisines, sand sculptures, railways, forests and “Taiwan Fun on the Tropic of Cancer“. Apart from that, the Taiwan Small Town Ramble will also combine a showcase of ice attractions and activities, together with the fun of enjoying beer that will leave tourists with many wonderful memories.
The most popular sweet treat during the 2019 Formosa Summer Festival is the Mango Ice. Specially grown in Yujing District of the Tropic of Cancer, the mangoes that are harvested during the summer season has the best flavor and texture making it the perfect fruit ice treat.
Aiyu jelly in Chiayi County is equally popular. In the B&Bs and farms along the road of Alishan National Scenic Area, you can see the Aiyu jelly trees while sampling a bowl of crystal-clear Aiyu jelly to cool down the summer heat.
