Expect to be mesmerized as two of the country’s renowned thespians and real-life couple Franco Laurel and Ayen Laurel are staging their first ever concert together, KITANG DALAWA, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino on October 11, 2018.
The concert, which covers a wide range of musical genres from Broadway, Original Pilipino musicals, Pop, Jazz to Gospel and Kundiman, is co-presented by PLDT Home Fibr, the country’s most powerful broadband, in line with its push to bring world-class acts into the spotlight.
Joining them in the concert are their children Mariella Laurel, Hasan and Angia Laurel with the special participation of Whiplash, Joni Galeste and Jourdan Bartolome.
KITANG DALAWA is written and directed by Floy Quintos, musical direction by Von De Guzman, lighting design by Monino Duque, choreography by Cecile Martinez and PJ Rebullida, Set Design by Mitoy Sta. Ana, Costume Design by Rajo Laurel for House of Laurel, JC Buendia, Jojie Lloren, M Barretto and Jaz Cerezo.
