While ABS-CBN‘s top-rating talent-variety and talk show “Little Big Shots“ showcases the talent and charm of kids, it also draws viewers every weekend for teaching the value of loving one’s craft and showing heartwarming moments between kids and their parents.

“I always tell them, magic is an art. You need to protect it because if you don’t love your craft, nothing will happen,” shared Melbourne, father of nine-year-old magician Kyla. “You need to love it so that when you perform, you’ll enjoy it. You have to practice constantly so it’s perfect when you show it to the people,” he added.

Aside from promoting the value of passion and dedication, the show also takes parents center stage to show how providing a supportive and encouraging environment allows kids to reach their full potential.

“We are here to support him as he reaches for his dreams,” said biker John-John’s mom, whose son thrilled viewers with his death-defying stunts.

Wanlu, father of marionettist Eli, also shared his advice with parents whose kids have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD): “Just trust in God and support whatever they want to do and interested in. Just try to find their hidden talent.”

The show also features inspiring and heartwarming stories about families that bring viewers to tears. Hulahoop dancer Jane, at 13, already helps her parents send her siblings to school with the prize money she brings home from joining competitions. Her mother Glen, tearing up, called her a “gift from God.”

Eleven-year-old Marky’s appearance also produced one of the most tear-jerking moments in the show, as his siblings, who are also headspinners, came along with him to cheer him on and promised their parents to use their skill to help their family.

Watch more heartwarming scenes and talented kids on “Little Big Shots,” Saturdays and Sundays on ABS-CBN and on ABS-CBN HD (SkyCable ch 167).
