Heart Tide Release Debut Single, ‘Alright’

Heart Tide has released its debut single called Alright with accompanying visual video. The melancholic video gives contrast to the dark, electronic sound of the song.

“The song is very apocalypse-like, it’s supposed to give you that moody vibe”, Samu Hietainen, the mind behind Heart Tide describes. “I wanted to release Alright first because it’s the most out-there song I have written, it’s nothing like the rest. It’s slow, horror-y, electronic and it challenges the listener. Bands and artists usually keep it pretty safe with their first releases but I wanted to take a risk knowing not everyone’s going to get it immediately”.

Heart Tide is technically an artist name but Samu doesn’t consider it as that. “I see the songs like they are supposed to be played live. Heart Tide sounds like a band and there’s going to be a band playing the songs live”.
