Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, held the Asia-Pacific Regional Finals of the Go Green in the City 2017 last July 10, 2017, naming Philippines representative Team Green Zone as the first runner-up of the competition. Composed of De La Salle University-Manila students Aaron Jules Del Rosario and Iliana Benice Tan, Team Green Zone presented their Glass X project, going head-to-head against other countries in the region.
The countries that will be participating in the Go Green in the City Global Finals to be held on October 2017 in Paris, France are United States of America, China, France, United Kingdom, Thailand, Brazil, Pakistan, and India. Joining them are women empowerment duo from Turkey and wildcard team from New Zealand.
