Leading society and lifestyle magazine Metro Society, in cooperation with top specialty retailer SSI Group, Inc., hosts an exclusive fashion and charity affair for the benefit of Make-A-Wish Philippines, a non-profit organization that helps grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions this September 17 (Thursday).Expected to be the largest gathering of Manila’s prominent personalities, the third Metro Society Benefit serves as a platform to encourage Manila’s pool of influential people to unite and raise funds for Make-A-Wish Philippines.

The highlight of the Metro Society Benefit is an exclusive fashion show featuring the Autumn/Winter 2015 collection of US-based premium brand, Brooks Brothers.

Brooks Brothers is the oldest American clothing brand whose roster of distinguished customers range from nearly every US president to Hollywood royalty and some of today’s most well-known celebrities. The brand was recently the provider of all of the men’s costumes for the film The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

“Metro Society and Brooks Brothers, through its local distributor SSI Group, Inc., have chosen Make-A-Wish Philippines because we support their advocacy in creating an atmosphere of positivity in the lives of these children. It is our own way of encouraging Manila’s society to take on an active role in making a difference,” Raul Manzano, Metro Society’s editor-in-chief said.

“Brooks Brothers has been supporting Make-A-Wish Foundation globally for the past fifteen years and we also share the belief that social consciousness and responsibility are the hallmark of any successful company,” Anton Huang President of SSI Group, Inc. said.

Since 2013, Metro Society has been leading successful charity events to rally together Manila’s notable personalities to support important advocacies. The first beneficiary was Sagip Kapamilya of the ABS-CBN Foundation for their rebuilding efforts in Yolanda affected areas. Last year, efforts were directed towards AIDS awareness via TREAT Asia.

The third Metro Society Benefit will be held at The City of Dreams Manila.
