Your favorite artisanal bakery, Baker & Cook, has taken things a notch higher as it launches a new set of dishes from appetizers, pastas, pizzas and entrees in addition to its signature breads and pastries.
The promise of a great meal begins with an order of the Spinach Artichoke Dip, a combination of spinach, artichoke, parmesan and cream cheese served with toasted baguette. Another surefire starter is the Crabstick and Katsuobushi Salad that’s teeming with romaine lettuce, cucumber, crabsticks, sliced apples, peaches, katsuobushi and roasted sesame dressing. These will whet your appetite and leave you hankering for more!
Pasta lovers will fall in love with Cacio a Pepe, a dish derived from its main ingredients of “cheese and pepper”. Baker & Cook’s version of this dish is a beautiful combination of fusilli, parmesan cheese, cream, fresh cracked pepper, and extra virgin olive oil. Nothing fancy- just good quality ingredients because oftentimes, less is more.
Another new item is the Okonomiyaki Pizza. Exactly the way it sounds, it is a popular Japanese pizza with mozzarella, sharp cheddar, shredded cabbage, onions, crabsticks, bacons, japanese mayo, katsuobushi and Japanese bbq sauce spread generously on top of a perfectly baked pizza crust. But if you want something more filling, try sinking your teeth into the Dome Roasted Pork Chop served with shiitake and mashed potatoes.
