The Inspired Beginnings 2026 bridal fashion show at Conrad Manila reached its breathtaking crescendo with a collection by the world-renowned Furne Amato (professionally known as Furne One). Covered by Orange Magazine last June 27, the event solidified Amato’s reputation for transforming bridal wear into high-fashion avant-garde poetry.

Originally from Cebu City and now based in Dubai where he helms his celebrated haute couture house, Amato Couture, the multi-awarded designer is famous for his signature fusion of timeless elegance and theatrical innovation. Having dressed global pop royalty including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Rita Ora, Jessie J and Britney Spears, alongside top Filipino icons like Vice Ganda, Sarah Geronimo, Nadine Lustre, Maja Salvador and Maymay Entrata, Amato brought that same dramatic, red-carpet energy to the Conrad Manila runway, moving entirely away from traditional, predictable bridal silhouettes.

Amato’s 2026 bridal collection moves away from traditional, predictable bridal silhouettes, opting instead for a dramatic, theatrical narrative that is both ethereal and fiercely modern.

The Aesthetic: Ethereal Drama Meets Avant-Garde

The collection expertly plays with textures and grand structures, showcasing a masterful command of volume and intricacy.

Textural Innovation: The runway featured stunning variations of white and warm cream, elevated by elaborate, multi-tiered ruffled skirts, architectural feather details, and heavy, intricate embroidery.

The Power Cape & Dramatic Veils: A defining theme of the collection is the use of structured, sweeping capes and grand veils. Models floated down the runway in capes that billowed with high-drama, some heavily encrusted with beadwork, others boasting voluminous tulle collars that framed the face like works of art.

Modern Contours: Alongside traditional ballgowns reimagined with feather fringes, Amato introduced bold, modern choices for the contemporary bride—including heavily embellished body-contouring pieces, sheer illusion paneling, and tailored bridal suits featuring detailed lace and statement headpieces.

Menswear Sophistication: The collection also extended its vision to contemporary grooms, showcasing structured, flowing cream overcoats, hooded capes, and intricate tonally-embroidered jackets that perfectly mirrored the opulence of the bridal gowns.

Amato’s 2026 showcase is less about basic bridal wear and more about creating an indelible, dramatic moment. It’s a collection designed for the bride who views her walk down the aisle as a high-fashion editorial.
