The Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) officially kicked off the media launch for its highly anticipated 55th National Marketing Conference. Dubbed “ONE MAP: Charting the Future of Marketing,” the milestone event hosted its media launch on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Hilton Manila, Newport World Resorts, showcasing a bold vision to pioneer the “omni-experience” in professional conferences.

The conference introduces its core strategic framework: ONE MAP, which stands for Omni Network Ecosystem Marketing Agility Protocol. Scheduled to take place on September 23, 2026, the conference aims to give marketing professionals, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs a definitive roadmap to navigate an increasingly complex, AI-driven business landscape.

Honoring a 70-Year Legacy while Looking Ahead

Breaking PMA tradition, this 55th edition will pull out all the stops by utilizing two co-directors to spearhead the execution.

During her opening remarks, PMA Executive Vice President and Marketing Conference Co-Director Cha Diaz highlighted the rich history of the association, noting that the community has been steering industry growth long before the era of digital tools and artificial intelligence.

“For nearly six decades, generations of marketers have gathered under the banner of this conference… The National Marketing Conference has witnessed the evolution of marketing itself. It has seen the transition from print to television, from television to digital, from digital to mobile, from transactions to experiences, and now from automation to artificial intelligence.” — Cha Diaz, 2026 PMA Executive Vice President & Conference Co-Director

Diaz emphasized that ONE MAP serves as both a literal and conceptual guide: “One Map represents our collective belief that marketing and marketers need both direction and the adaptability to succeed in an incredibly complex world.”

Pioneering an Integration-First, ‘Omni-Experience’ Learning

Co-Director Adolf Aran expanded on how the framework redefines corporate learning, comparing the integrated approach to top-tier Filipino brands that break operational silos to thrive.

“ONE MAP reflects this same reality by offering an omni-experience learning journey where learning happens not just on stage, but across digital engagements, networking, and real-world immersions.” — Adolf Aran, 2026 PMA Director & Conference Co-Director

Aran also introduced a key feature of the upcoming conference—the Marketing Gambit Cup (the Marketing Learning Output Challenge)—which will challenge attendees to apply their insights directly to real-world business cases rather than keeping them theoretical. He concluded with an emotive call to action: “We urge our conference attendees to engage fully in every experience… and most importantly… fall in love with marketing all over again.”

Doing Good Beyond Business

PMA President Mitch Ballesteros closed the presentations by emphasizing that the theme serves as a critical movement at a defining moment of global economic, artificial intelligence, and geopolitical disruptions.

“Success today requires agility, collaboration, solidarity, and the ability to continuously transform and connect… Oneness reminds us that no organization, industry, or nation succeeds in isolation. Progress happens when businesses, government, the academe, the media, and consumers work together as an interconnected ecosystem.” — Mitch Ballesteros, PMA President

Ballesteros reiterated that the metric for modern marketing excellence must reach past numbers: “Doing good beyond business reminds us that the true measure of success is not merely profitability, but the positive and lasting impact we create for people, communities, industries, and future generations.”
