Back-to-Budget, Not Back-to-Basic: The REDMI 15 Is the Smarter Spend This Season

Budgets are tighter. Expectations aren’t. That tension is exactly what the REDMI 15 was built for.

Xiaomi Philippines launches its latest entry-level contender at ₱8,999, a price that would normally come with a list of trade-offs. Not here. The REDMI 15 leads with a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery that lasts up to 2.32 days on a single charge, which means less time hunting for outlets and more time actually using your phone. It also supports 33W turbo charging and 18W reverse charging, so it can top up your other devices when they need it most.

The rest of the package doesn’t disappoint either. A 6.9-inch FHD+ display running at up to 144Hz makes everyday scrolling and streaming feel noticeably smoother. The Snapdragon 685 processor, paired with up to 16GB RAM via Memory Extension, keeps things running without the lag. And the 50MP AI dual camera holds its own in most shooting conditions — Auto Night Mode included.

There’s also IP64 water and dust resistance, a quad-curved build that sits comfortably in hand, and Xiaomi HyperOS 2 with Gemini AI onboard. For ₱8,999, that’s a lot of phone.
