Filipino rappers Nateman and Baby Blood team up with acclaimed producer Yung Bawal on “PUSO AT ISIP,” a vibey, minimalist jam that explores the beautiful chaos of love caught between passion and reason.

Built on Yung Bawal’s lush yet groovy production, the track sets a magnetic backdrop for Nateman and Baby Blood’s sharp lyricism, weaving a story of desire tempered by hesitation.

The song dares to ask a timeless question: do we follow the quiet pull of peace or dive headlong into the risks of adventurous love? With sultry melodies, clever and playful verses, and Caribbean-inspired rhythms, “PUSO AT ISIP” is designed to keep listeners vibing long after the first play.

“This song really came out of nowhere, from pure feeling and soul,” Nateman shares in a press statement.

His brother and collaborator Baby Blood also echoes this authenticity, channeling raw emotion into verses that resonate with both intimacy and wit.

“We’re proud of the outcome,” Baby Blood adds. “The chemistry is undeniable, but each one of us brought a different level of craftmanship and energy that made everything coherent without necessarily taking away our individuality.”

Yung Bawal, who was responsible for helming the beat, revealed that the collaboration was born organically. “I first worked with Nateman on a remix earlier this year and loved the energy. He brought Baby Blood into the session, who I only later found out was his younger brother. The track just flowed from there.”

As for his production style for this particular bop, Yung Bawal ensures that he did his homework and talked to the artists about what vibe they feel like making or inspiration they are keen to capture in a creative partnership. “I never have a library of beats for artists, as all my beats are made specifically for who I’m working with; hence, all of my releases sound different from each other depending on whom I’m working with.”

The release of “PUSO AT ISIP” will be accompanied by a music video that felt cinematic in scope. As Yung Bawal describes it, the director made telenovela-like material, complete with a riveting plot. Nateman even joked around about how it made them feel like lead stars of their own drama shows. “Ang guwapo-guwapo namin dun (we look good),” he laughs. The MV also stars Filipina social media personality Christine Samson.

“PUSO AT ISIP” is out now on all digital music platforms worldwide via Sony Music Entertainment.
