Kara David, one of the country’s most respected and award-winning documentarists, is known for telling powerful and life-changing documentaries.

Her storytelling extends beyond her TV programs, as she headlines GMA Public Affairs’ newest video podcast, “I-Listen,” with its first season dropping on September 17. The podcast features Sparkle artist and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition Housemate Shuvee Etrata.

I-Listen promises raw, heartfelt, and intimate conversations that highlight extraordinary Filipino stories – each one inspiring reflection, empathy, and hope. From celebrities to everyday Filipinos with remarkable journeys, each episode explores struggles and triumphs that shape the human spirit.

In a candid and heartfelt interview with Kara, Shuvee shares how a simple TikTok video of her winning smile launched her career in showbiz and social media.

Shuvee shares her personal journey of learning to embrace her natural skin tone after years of insecurity – a decision that has made her even more relatable to her fans.

Since leaving Bahay ni Kuya, Shuvee has been everywhere, from endorsements to TV guestings, and now she’s about to start filming her first movie.

Shuvee also opens up about her personal struggles and family challenges that they are working to overcome.

I-Listen’s pilot episode concludes with a special surprise gift for Shuvee. Will it make her laugh or cry?

Catch “I-Listen,” premiering September 17 on Spotify, Apple Music, and the official GMA Public Affairs YouTube Channel.
