The Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) won the Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Project in Environment award at the League of Corporate Foundations’ 2023 CSR Guild Awards for “EcoProject: Kilos Kabataan Para sa Kapaligiran.”
KCFI’s two-year-old ‘EcoProject’ is a collaboration with Unilever – Breeze Philippines that aims to educate, engage, and empower young learners to become environmental champions for their communities. By engaging with 47 different public schools in Marikina City, Taguig City, and Pateros, the project collected more than 30,000 kilograms of recyclable plastic waste ready for upcycling.
The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Guild Awards is an annual recognition ceremony of outstanding CSR programs that have made exceptional strides towards sustainability and social good and was held as part of the LCF’s yearly CSR Expo.
